Set in Neptune, California, VERONICA MARS is a popular TV drama that follows the fortunes of a 17-year-old trainee private investigator. Neptune is full of powerfully rich residents, many of whom believe they are above the law. Fortunately Veronica, who was propelled into a life of crime-fighting after her best friend, Lilly, was murdered, is on hand to ensure that justice is served, much to the annoyance of the Neptunians who find themselves frequently foiled in their devious plans. Veronica's father is the former sheriff of Neptune, who found himself removed from office after alleging that Lilly's father was responsible for his daughter's death. Now, together with Veronica, he runs a local private investigation business, while also ensuring that his daughter doesn't neglect her high school duties. A long-standing subplot that runs through the show is Veronica's attempts to clear her father's name, which only leads to further evidence of enormous corruption and deceit in a neighborhood that seems littered with criminal activity.     Rob Thomas is a beast. Lol.

    I love VMars. I woke up 1 night 10 years ago and this was on the channel I was watching. Just happened to be season 1 episode 1. I binged watched 2 seasons and recorded the last. It was funny. Then I got the movie. My sister saw the movie and fell in love and I explained the back talking like the characters knew each other from childhood and told her it was a high school tv show first. Now she’s hooked. Lol.

    Veronica Mars

    When Veronica Mars originally aired, I didn't watch it. Recently reruns have been on again and I became interested in the show. I decided to by all three seasons and start at the beginning. I am so glad I did. The show is well written and acted. The character of Veronica Mars is played by the cute Kristen Bell. She is a very likable character who solves crimes along with her Dad and with the help of her friends. There is a Veronica Mars movie made in 2014. I recommend watching the series, then the movie.
