About this product

Product Information

In 'Gods Must Be Crazy' a discarded Coca Cola bottle falls from the air amidst an isolated tribe of African bushmen, who think it is a gift from the gods. One man sets out to return it but, the closer he gets to civilisation, the less civilised he becomes. In 'Gods Must Be Crazy 2' Xixo, the bushman who lives deep in the African desert following the life of his ancestors, collides again with civilisation when he embarks on a search for his children. He soon crosses paths with an odd couple, who are lost in the desert and a crazy adventure begins.

Funny gentle humour with feelgood outcomes.

Certain the woke generation would find lots to whinge about in these 'Out of Africa' Movies . What better recommendation can there be. My Nigerian born wife had raved about these movies from her childhood and so bought for her to indulge in some nostalgia but found our own children at similar ages to when she first watched were captivated. The innocence and gentility of emotion portrayed produced genuine laughter with the 'Noble Savage' hero of the plot and heartfelt empathy with his plight. The sequel as with so many born from the original's huge success results in a somewhat similar adventure but still worth repeating. • Funny old movie

Think - ''Benny Hill in Botswana'' and you get the general idea. Its funny, but it's respectful to to the bushmen. Its light entertainment, with South African bias (not a bad thing). The scenery is exactly as I remember it from the Kalahari- stunning. Have fun.....

  • a unique movie

I remember when it came out, how completely different it was to anything else in the cinemas. I'd never see 2 and it was very good as well, not quite as good as 1 but still very enjoyable. Should I try 3? I think I will.
