    Great radio

    Ordered this radio because I wanted an ssb. Radio works perfectly. Ssb Channels are fun to play with and easy to tune. Weather band reception is strong and clear. My only complaint is the microphone could stand to be a little stronger. Otherwise a great radio and I highly recommend it.

    Great Radio and Great Price

    I really like the Display Colors, SWR and the Scanning features. It's also nice to have the weather stations available. It's now a generation 2 board so it's made in Vietnam but the packaging and instructions are made in China. I wonder if the price will go up and still be available in the future. Get em while you still can.

    Uniden bearcat 980 ssb cb radio

    This is so far a great radio, I've been into cb radio since I was 12 years old, I'm now 48, I have been back into the hobby for 2 yrs now and I have 2 older 23 channel ssb radios but I wanted something with 40 channels and something new not vintage so I got this. I love it! I have made contacts in 4 states from my home in central new York ( with skip conditions) on my Mack flatside 3 element beam, and of course tons of local contacts as well. Great price, great radio and everything came but the original box but everything was wrapped up like new and nothing was missing, looks like it had never even been hooked up.

    CB with side band

    I bought this CB to replace an older cobra 146GTL that was tired and no longer was transmitting. It was all that I read about and is really nice to have in my truck. It is really nice to be able to customize all of the display properties. It has all of the power that I need to talk to everyone that I travel with.
