Scarlett and Rhett finally wed, but Scarlett continues to pine for her beloved Ashley. Set against the Civil War and Southern Reconstruction, this tragic love quadrangle offers the burning of Atlanta and fields of wounded Confederates as part of its lush scenery.     American Civil War Drama Classic.

    Created 9 years after the Great Depression in color. 1930. Actors were household legends of the time. Extreme detail given to scripps and stage scenes. So realistic it's a must see. Drama and emotion at its best. If Rhett and Scarlet were alive today. Now only film has saved them.

    Great actors and good entertainment with historical background.

    This is a CLASSIC and should be in everyone's DVD library! Many literary references are made about this movie and unfortunately, today's youth have no clue about this time in our history. Viewing this movie should be part of EVERY high school history class, whether in the North of South.
