Synopsis
Karl M ller (1813-1894) published two standard works, Fragmenta Historicorum Graecorum and Geographi Graeci Minores, which have never been superseded, but very little is known about his life, and he is frequently confused with Carl Otfried M ller, another great German classicist of the nineteenth century. Born near Hannover, Karl and his brother and collaborator Theodor both studied at the University of G ttingen, but both left Germany in 1839, probably for political reasons. They moved to Paris, where Fragmenta was produced in partnership with the printer-publisher Ambroise Firmin-Didot. It covers histories which have been lost, but of which fragments survive in other works. Volume 3, published in Paris in 1849, contains the surviving fragments of works from 247 BCE, the beginning of the reign of Ptolemy III, pharaoh of Egypt, until the final conquest of the Greek territories by the Romans in 146 BCE., Karl Müller (1813-1894) published two standard works, Fragmenta Historicorum Graecorum and Geographi Graeci Minores, which have never been superseded, but very little is known about his life, and he is frequently confused with Carl Otfried Müller, another great German classicist of the nineteenth century. - c***a (121)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe seller was very responsive and answered me on a timely matter. The product itself came in its packaging and was new, not used at all. The packaging was not beat up or anything, safely delivered to my mailbox. No mix ups and zero stress with delivery. The price for the product is completely understandable for the product. I really appreciate the seller and I am very happy to have purchased through this seller. Completely trustable!
- m***4 (1614)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseLeaving positive feedback because 1) item was packed well & arrived as described 2) seller did give partial refund when subsequent price dropped below org purchase price. 3) communication was quick However, there was a downside to this transaction -item listed as in-stock but ended up waiting nearly a month for them to get it from their distributer then ship it to me (bought June 29th, arrived around July 21). Auction said 12-15 days. Better clarity would have prevented lot of frustrationStreet Fighter II - Guile (Player 2) Figure - 6 Inch (#365698737394)
- 2***0 (4)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe basket is perfectly what I ordered and as listed. It came in the factory packaging and was perfect upon delivery. Thank you postal service lol. The delivery took way longer than listed though, it was listed to come in a week from purchase, but took a whole month. I had some concerns at first, but communication with the company was top notch and they were very professional and answered most of my questions satisfyingly. Just prepare for a longer wait than listed, but I got what I bought lol.
