    Old models were better

    The humidifier itself is okay (doesn't put out a visible mist), but the filter situation is the problem. They require changing way too often due to mineral build-up and mold, and they aren't that cheap.

    Great Small Humidifier

    Bought the Vicks Filter-Free Cool Mist Humidifier as an addition to the already 7+ year old one I own and still use. Love that it has no filter and is very easy to clean! Works great for my bedroom at night and I'm now using the new humidifier in the main part of my house for added humidity during the winter months. Highly recommend!

    Fits my needs very well

    I previously had a hot mist vaporizer, requiring fairly frequent cleaning of encrustations around the heating element. The coolmist is much easier to maintain even if it pumps somewhat less humidity into the room. Also the larger water container lasts for just about a full day.
