    It Works Perfectly

    I love my Ooma VOIP phone system. It saves me a lot of $ every month, but that's not why I love it so much. It has a call-blocking feature called "nomorobo" that is a community phone spam blocking service. I used to get dozens of marketing calls every week, now I get maybe 1 a week, thanks to "nomorobo" This device lets me put a remote phone in the bedroom, while the base station is in another room. This puppy really works well and I recommend it!

    Bad Power Supply means hours on tech support calls.

    This unit was shipped with a bad power supply that provided enough power to light up but when the unit tried to connect is would drop out. Ooma sent me a new unit but it worked the same until I finally swapped out the power supply and the problems cleared up. I think the power supply was to small for the power being used. Caused very strange problems that baffled Ooma three tech support people. They incorrectly blamed it on my firewall connections. After it finally worked the sound quality is much better than Verizon Home service we have been using.

    Happy with Linx Adapter and Price

    I have had Ooma VOIP phone service for several years with the Premium package. I had bought a second one to use for a fax line, not realizing I could have used a Linx adapter for the same purpose. I am planning on canceling service to the second Ooma device and use this Linx with the second phone number provided as a feature with the Premium service. I will be saving money with this Linx adapter. I like the price I got with this used Linx adapter, although I was not happy that when opening up the package, I noticed a rattling sound inside the adapter. There is something lose inside, but it still seems to be working okay.

    Works like advertised

    Works perfect for an office phone, using Ooma premium I added a second number and assigned it to the linx device. Now I have a separate phone / number for the office and works and sounds great.
