I had an old 12 volt one This drill is worlds apart and is amazing. If you are in a tight spot often you would never be without one Chuck is ace and its just a brilliant piece of kit like all makita tools Only goes to 10mm but i put a carbide bur in the drill if i need to open a hole up a bit One of my most useful tools i ever purchased
