competativly priced quickly despatched would buy again from this seller i did have to take the plastic final drive gear off and swap it over from my old motor this was very easy todo with just 1 screw this part connects with the brush bar once screw was taken out just need screw driver to prise it off simple hope this help just incase you encounter this issue

What can I say the internet is FULL of no working Dyson Ball " brush won't turn" so I did a bit of reasearch and it pointed to the motor found I needed a GOOD quality motor found this one at such a good price found it wasn't hard to do (?) I'm 68 years woman ! Got it ok " you tube" just had to improvise on a tool ( if one could be provided in same advert ?) and it was done !! Do yourself a favour...
This replacement brush-drive motor is a high quality replacement for your Dyson 'Animal' vacuum cleaner. It can be fitted with basic tools ( Torx drivers T8 & T10) and the electrics are simple "plug-ins" on the circuit board. Save your £300 Dyson for £20 and have the pride that you fixed it yourself! Well worth buying!

This is a very good inexpensive replacement motor. Simple and easy to fitt. I like the fact that you can change the small sprocket to fit the different roller brushes. Prices are excellent definitely buy these again.
