Easy to use and effective at refining satellite dish position.
This is an easy piece of kit to use. Connects with a short lead to the LNB and directly to your satellite box which powers it up. You need to have a fairly good idea where the satellite is. I initially picked up the wrong satellite but this was obvious when no picture or signal was registered on the Sky box. Moving the dish slightly in azimuth picked up the next satellite (Astra 2) the one I wanted. The audible signal coming from the meter with dB gain adjustment allowed me to refine the position of the satellite dish easily and I achieved 100% signal strength and 90% signal quality on both Sky Q (wideband) and Sky HD boxes. If you are only interested in making sure your static satellite dish is pointed in the optimum position then this little meter is just the ticket.This is an easy piece of kit to use. Lightweight and worth trying.
Satellite receiver was easy to attach to LNB and cables. The receiver was small and lightweight. The numbers are easy to read and the dial turns very easily. If your technically minded it will be straight forward, I went on you tube and watched how to use it. This item is definitely worth trying before paying out for someone to do the job.

Saved me time and money.
The sat finder I bought was invaluable at a very good low price. It took the guessing out of setting up my new Sky dish (had to replace the dish due to rust on the old one). Had I not had the sat finder it would have probably have taken hours to set up the dish, it took 30 minutes to fit the new dish on the house wall and using the sat finder it took only a few minutes to obtain a strong signal thanks to the sat finder which is so easy to use. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to set up a satellite dish as it is simple to use and is Avery low price.The sat finder I bought was invaluable at a very good low price. The Signal is out there ....
I bought this to go with a new dish set up from SKY D.I.Y with no previous knowledge of how to install a satellite system. Having installed the dish and pointing it where I thought it should go I then fixed up the signal finder following the enclosed instructions. I had a few hiccups along the way but that was down to my lack of know how. The product is simple to use and I was up and running with a strong signal within ten minutes of connecting it. You can buy more expensive meters but this one did the job for a novice like me and I would recommend to anyone. Great meter, easy to use
I had to do a little 'gardening' to clear plant life from round my dish, managed to bump dish with ladder. Trying to reset using signal strength on sky menu was impossible. The meter was easy to use and got back to full strength in moments, the audible indication was a great help. Good little gadget.
