A good heater, better made than the original. the only problem I had was that the electrical connector was a different pattern to mine, probably due to the age of my tumble dryer, over 20 years. However, both connectors used 1/4" terminals amd it was a simple matter to salvage the shell from the original and swap it over. Otherwise a perfect fit.

Good Value part to repair tumble dryer
It's the right heater for an IDC75, however it was the wrong plug type and I had to re-insert the prongs into the old plug body, I know the web page shows the two plus types but I'd no idea that the plug had changed. For new purchasers I'd strongly recommend taking the dryer apart to check which plug type you have. However my dryer now works so much better with this heater.

When my heating element failed (the tumble dryer would tumble, but not heat up) I ended up trying to get an engineer out. This cost nearly £80 and the replacement part, £60. This was nearly the price of a new tumble dryer. So I decided to order this part which arrived within a day or two, easy to fit, and cost a quarter of what had been quoted. A no brainer. Heater element replacement.
So far I am really pleased with this element. It is so easy to install without any issues what so ever. Just make sure that the plug end is the same as the original. It is a lot cheaper in price than the genuine part so fingers crossed it will last.
