    This was a new experience.

    Not had much success with stick on in the past but this was a new experience. Heavy sole, great scraper and the adhesive (plenty of it) was really tough stuff. The instructions are concise and easy to follow. Delivery could have been quicker but it was well worth the wait. I will replace the soles on all my shoes using this product. I am considering heels at this moment.

    Glue doesn't work

    Glue doesn't work, went off, hardened as soon as I put it on the the soles. Had to spend hours peeling and scraping it off. I followed the instructions to the letter. Had to buy another contact adhesive.

    Good result if done properly.

    This product is easy to use and the instructions are clear up to a point. However users need to note that final adhesion is most effective if ambient temperature is above 60 degrees, or even better use hairdryer to warm both shoe and sole prior to final fix.

    Not for shoes with cleats or ridged soles.

    Roughened surfaces, applied glue and followed instructions. Glue just not strong enough. Soles just peeled off. Had another go and stuck but flapping at the edges as soles on shoes are not smooth. Probably good for flat soles.

    Easy, quick repair

    I used this kit to replace the heel pad of a cycling shoe for which i was struggling to find a replacement heel pad. The rubber was reasonably easy to cut with good scissors. The glue, when used properly and in accordance with the instructions, set very strongly. This has been on for a few weeks and looks fine.
