    Good product

    I needed to change the whip on my screwdriver antenna and chose to trim the length from the antenna tip. I drilled the hole larger in this ball to fit the antenna. The set screw also seems to be a quality product as I had no issues with stripping it. Overall, this corona ball is a quality product. This is the second time I purchased this item- as the first one came off somehow while in use and I do not believe it was the corona ball's fault. I used thread locker on the set screw for this one and did not on the first one.

    5/8" Corona (static) Ball

    Good quality item, I like the machined edge left above the set screw. I did request that it be drilled to 3/16" but this was not done, no biggie, I'll drill it out tomorrow on the press.
