one trick pony
can only be used flr the larger cable and cut into the core great if you are a company that uses one size cable but for the trades person that needs a tool that does mulit uses I would pass on this item. wish i had seen it at one of the tool fairs and would have saved my money. well made but then so was the satue of liberty nice to look at and take photos

Expensive for what they are.
Got these specifically for stripping 1.5mm 3-core flex and fp200. They work ok some of the time but there's definitely a knack to it. Half a turn left then right and bend left and right will strip the outer insulation off flex most of the time. This is ok when you're on the ground but a lot of faffing around when you're up on ladders or steps. Maybe I'll get used to them. They're pretty expensive for quite a niche item but the build quality is fairly good, nice soft grip vde handles and the cutting edge is ok.Got these specifically for stripping 1.5mm 3-core flex and fp200. These snips are well made and good quality. The problem is they are only good for round cable. The big striping hole is too big for 1.5 flex. they do cut FP cable well which I found helpful. They strip 2.5, 1.5 cores well. I do a lot of emergency lighting so these will stay in my bag for that. There’s not much more use I’ve found for them. You can’t strip Twin and earth with them as the angle bit won’t allow you to cut into the cable properly. These snips are well made and good quality.
