You'll love this if you're on a narrowboat
Bought this for use on our narrowboat and it's excellent. Comes with a thermometer for attaching to the chimney which is really useful, since you can adjust the stove heat output using the temperature displayed rather than eventually thinking it's too hot or cold and reacting accordingly. Followed the installation instructions and it just sits there on our stove and works! Distributes the warm air around the cabin really well. Good design, extremely quiet. What's not to like?Bought this for use on our narrowboat and it's excellent. Easy to use, efficient fan.
The fan throws warm air into the room instead of the warm air building up inside the chimney breast. It works perfectly. It also comes with a stove thermometer which is a very useful tool to keep the stove at the correct temperature.

Efficient eco fan
I have had an eco fan for about 7/8 years and recommend them to everyone who has a multi-fuel or wood stove. Mine increases the heat from the stove so effectively and efficiently. When I noted my friend doesn't have one and I wondered what to buy her for a Christmas gift an eco fan immediately came to mind. Mine only has two wings to the windmill so I didn't see the point of buying one with more wings as necessary. My friend has her early Christmas gift and has confirmed already that the increase the heat from her wood stove is enormous and comforting and so much more efficient.
