    Fun family oriented mystery movie

    If you like older movies that don't dwell on special affects and have an Egyptian theme, then this is a movie worth a try. Location shots and a fairly good story line. There are some rear projection sequences that eventually get tiresome, but stick with it. If there is any downside ....the ending is abrupt and you wish they showed more.

    Old but still engaging

    I originally saw this movie first run back in the 50's, and was very taken by the many scenes filmed on location in Egypt. As a kid of about 12, I deeply felt that I must go to Egypt some day. I finally did so three times starting in 1974, and ending in 1981. The story of this movie is a bit ridiculous, and some of the continuity as far as Egypt's geography is concerned is far off, but the on location scenes made up for a lot. As to quality, this is only a fair reproduction.
