An archaeologist for everyone
I have several series from BBC and Neil Oliver. His enthusiasm for his subjects and the settings for his stories, histories and finds on digs are all first class. Being from Scotland and from his accent, possibly the Highlands, gives him a unique perspective on the various themes of his British history series such as A History of Ancient Britain, The History of Scotland and The Vikings. Since the series are hard to find in Region One format, I bought a multi-regional DVD player and ordered some of the series from the UK websites of Ebay and others.
