Although this was a good result for me you need to note the following. As others have commented although putting your old electronics back is fine fitting the old key is not so straightforward. The reason is that the plastic boss that fits into the circular recess in the key so that it can swing open and closed is fractionally too big so your old key will not fit. Instead of doing what others have done by using the blank key supplied and paying to have it recut you just need to spend a little time carefully paring away the edge of the circular boss so that your old key will fit. Took some time but mine is fine. They supply a spare battery but you don't need to replace the old one. You need to look on youtube to see how to open the old key to remove the key & electronics - basically you ... Although this was a good result for me you need to note the following. Need to pay extra for key blanks to be cut
The replacement is good but the blade from your original key will not fit and you will need to pay a key cutter to cut the blank provided. Cost me and extra £20. (2 Keys)
