Unfortunately, the seller's descriptions of 'Very Good' and 'Great Condition' were way off the mark as the CD was covered in sticky fingerprints etc. and the jewel box arrived broken. Have cleaned the disc twice but yet to see if it will play all the way through in my Hi-Fi system CD player (?) Guess I should have forked out £16 for the brand new item.

A masterwork in improvisation
Improvisation on this scale was a first and the Koln Concert still stands the test of time. Still the best and most accessible. I had this on vinyl when it came out and so this is a replacement. As a pianist I was hugely influenced by this. Although my main listening was Bill Evans who did a couple of solo records. ECM put out great artists. Charles Lloyd, Bobo Stenson, Jan Garbarek for example. Improvisation on this scale was a first and the Koln Concert still stands the test of time. Still the best and most accessible. A used CD but plays as if new
Although it is evident that the CD is not new, the disc plays perfectly well and the CD case and notes are equally alright. The music is largely a departure from the mainstream Keith Jarrett repertoire but well worth having, nevertheless.
