I put my 64GB of ddr4 3200 Team in this and am doing memtest now. I can tell the 6 core cpu is OK as I am using a 7800x. I have an Asus X299 Prime-A to compare to, but that board is running a 7820x. What I found is you need the newer video cards like 4GB Radeon 470 nitro to get the slider running well on a webpage. I have been stuck with very old video cards like 6770 radeon, and 4870 HD and they will not cut it on X299 boards. I am not a gamer as Combat Flight Simulator WW2 Europe series and Sidewinder Joysticks are being pushed out of the way. This board is a secondary and way better than my AM3+ socket MSI gaming, so I am happy about that. If the Asus ever gave way, I have a plenty good backup here. The guy that sold this was a sound room guy and they just use a board for real good basic things, not gaming. At $99 bucks in February 2020, I am stoked. Cpu was (7800X) $230 bucks shipped. Shop carefully for three weeks and checked the "advanced" upper right link to check completed listings to get an idea as to what deal you can hopefully get and you will eventually buy well.Read full review
