Evanescence: a group climb!
Evanescence is now a legendary band whose rise has been meteoric, thanks to his debut album "Fallen". Amy Lee is a singer who has a voice resource and set on fire on stage! Evanescence is my favorite band, the musical register is diverse and very interesting. Notice to fans of gothic rock, pop / rock. A watch and listen without moderation! The concert seems all too short, we must re-watch! LOL. We never tire of it. Once this rhythm in the skin, it has been for long. Do not hesitate to purchase this DVD, you will not regret it! The concert includes all the songs from the debut album "Fallen" as well as unreleased tracks and versions. The cover of the DVD is original from the representation of an eye surrounded by thorny branches. The writing style does not change from the first album ... LOVE IT!!! definately recommended... for any music/Evanescence fan
bought this product as my original i had bought was scratched and was unable to play in my DVD... BIG evanescence fan good DVD inlcuding backstage tour footage, bloopers, music videos and the original concert: new tracks included breathe no more, farther away, thoughtless (korn cover) seriously recommended for any fan of Evanescence! This product is unusual as not many bands/artists release tour footage as well as extras (only other one ive seen recently is Green Day - Bullet in a Bible)bought this product as my original i had bought was scratched and was unable to play in my DVD... BIG evanescence fan good DVD inlcuding backstage tour footage, bloopers, music videos and the original concert: new tracks included breathe no more, farther away, thoughtless (korn cover) seriously recommended for any fan of Evanescence! Superb
As a huge fan of the "Fallen" album, and of Amy Lee's superb voice, I was fearful that a live DVD would be a disappointment - I could not have been more wrong!! This performance, in front of a very noisy Parisien crowd, is nothing short of brilliant, Amy's voice standing up well in difficult circumstances. In particular, the opener, "Going Under", is at times almost inaudible over the noise of the excitable French crowd, also, I would like to have heard Amy sing "My Immortal", instead of leaving some of it to the crowd. These, however, are very small quibbles, I will replay this DVD many times. Amy is backed by a splendid, if somewhat annonymous band, the video's of the singles are included, as is backstage footage, and an audio CD of the concert. One more thing, (that almost cost it ... Really well cut DvD - Amy Lee's powerful vocals bring to life - Video quality superb - some very small (hardly noticable) sound problems - But that will not spoil it for sure. Also available with DvD / CD version. So what can be said but 5/5. If you like Evanescence 'this is a must buy'
