Well made, do exactly what they are supposed to do. Light weight for easier usage
Very well made, and lovely to use. Nice and smooth for holding, good clean cutting blades, with pointed tips. These scissors cut material from the tip to the bottom in a good clean precise cut, even when the material is double/treble thickness. At first, I thought these tailor scissors were just as good as my old pair, but after using them a few times, I have to say, they are better.

Oh, these were marvellous for the first couple of cuts...so much so, I left a positive review. Well, I most definitely jumped the gun because the second time I tried using them, they were blunt and the blades were catching or sticking together, and obviously not cutting. All I can imagine is that they're made to work initially, but not for long, so you think you have a superior product at first. The handles/blades are obviously moving and resulting in this defect...cheap rubbish. The only cloth I've used these with is light to medium cotton. I sent pictures, where you can clearly see where the blades are catching, to the seller, and his response was ...'you need to sharpen them.' But they're new! Good, solid tailoring scissors may be expensive but they are precision made...to do the job ... Oh, these were marvellous for the first couple of cuts...so much so, I left a positive review. Superb excellent value scissors
Somebody had written in their review of these that they were wary to buy them because the price seemed to good to be true, and I had the same thought when I saw them. But once that person had bought and used them, they said that they 'cut through Harris Tweed like a knife through butter' so I figured they must be pretty good! And I am in 100% agreement with that review; these scissors are fantastic and cut cleanly through to the very end and so can even cope with fairly intricate cutting. I'm delighted with them and would highly recommend them. I recommended them to a relative and she has bought some now and is also delighted so if you are wanting decent tailoring scissors for a ridiculously good price, go for these! VALUE FOR MONEY
Cut well a little hard to hold but I have small hands and these are large. However for the price they are excellent. Would recommend these for those who don't want to spend too much on dressmaking scissors.

I don't know if these scissors are suitable for professional dressmaking but they are definitely good for home dressmaking. They are sharp and cut fabric well but I don't use them too often.
