Cost effective repair.
Arrived as predicted. Watched YouTube demo a couple of times. A bit tricky to remove the old springs, easy to fit the new ones. New design is different, better in my opinion. Cheaper and quicker than getting some in to do. Give it a go, you'll be pleased you did.

Shame we've been put to this inconvenience and expense so soon after buying a new dishwasher!
I am hugely disappointed to be needing to purchase replacement items so soon after purchasing a new dishwasher and have scored the product quality as 'poor' since the replacement items are listed as 'Genuine Bosch' and can be expected to fail again after a couple of years!!. Having examined both the failed and replacement items, the springs and cable rope appear to be of satisfactory quality but the bonded plastic connector which fits into the end of the springs is very inferior and, judging by the number of failures/reviews I've read, is a designed-in weakness to fail and cause customers additional expense. Better than the original
This replacement was better than the original on my Siemens dishwasher as there were no "designed to fail eventually" parts involved. Strange really as the mounting points existed for this design and yet Siemens in their "wisdom" choose a different plastic mounting system. Last Siemens product I will be buying having seen what they do behind the scenes. Well worth the money for the upgrade.
