I bought this large box specifically because it's wide enough to fit skirting boards, but I had a terrible experience just trying to make one 45° cut. The slits allow enough room for the saw to move around and meant half the time I was cutting into the mitre box itself. After that I gave up and bought a proper electric mitre saw. Maybe it's fine if it's for occasional use, but if you have quite a few cuts to do, I can't recommend it.

The only bad point is it was sent just in its plastic bag retail package you’d find on the shelf; no cardboard protection for its transit in royal mail’s hands that are well known for damaging & destroying things entrusted to the to deliver in the perfect condition they left the seller. By some miracle this survived royalties mail’s destructive hands.

When I offered to return the 8 I didn’t need and hadn’t paid for, they said they couldn’t accept them if the bag was opened. I tried to point out that I didn’t think that was how they were probably intended to be sold as there are only 3 on the car, but they insisted their stock listing was showing 5 items. I gave up, but why not have yourself a bargain at £1 each until they actually realise their error...
