Ryobi OLT1832 One+ Line Trimmer - Body Only - For a lightweight strimmer its pretty useful and tough enough for the scrub areas in my garden. Only issue I have is that the head angle adjustment wont go an extra notch to make the head flat from the holders prospective, it is always angled down.? if it went another notch it would sit flat to the ground and make it as accurate as a petrol, which you use the blade centre as your height guide. But its more than good enough.

I normally use a petrol strimmer, but cannot pull the start cord like I used to. The weight, the petrol mixture and the yearly fuss of starting it makes electric more practical. I have other Ryobi tools so charging is no problem. Its quiet and no arm jerking the cord to get it to start.

Great Strimmer
As with all my other one+ tools this is great quality and works perfectly, was replacing a cordless Bosch strimmer I had for years which was great but got through plastic blades ever so quick, having a line lasts longer and seems to cut far better. Multi angle of this strimmer is also a great feature and is quick and easy to change and best of all as all the batteries I have will fit I will never run out of power part way through. Part of the Ryobi 18v One + range. So uses the same battery across the range. Good for light weight strimming and edging, but not for thick and heavy grass or weeds. Only one cutting line, will see how long it takes to wear through a reel......

Useful easy to use good quality strimmer ( as long as you have the battery and charging system of course, and you are happy with the price).).
I have many Ryobi 1+ tools. This strimmer is very good. Adjustable for your height and handle angle is very good. when used with a 4 or 5 amp hour battery I can get 30 minutes strimming with a tool that is lightweight. I use Oregon brand duel filament line in my strimmers.

Excellent performer - does what it says
Fantastic strimmer. The old Bosch 240v I've used for some years gave up the ghost and always found fiddling with the cables was a pain. As I have a load of Ryobi One+ power tools including their hedge trimmer and chain saw I thought I'd give it a go as both hedge trimmer and chain saw are excellent performers! Easy to assemble, my 4 Ah battery went straight in and instantly I was pleased with the power and ease of use of this garden gadget - superb cutting and strimming and best of all I can walk freely around our large garden not worrying about extension leads or tripping over wires. Not bad
Pretty pleased upto know I gave both back and front garden a strim for about 25 mins only used 2ah battery and it still had abit charge left so YES I’d recommend this strimmer nice and light ( just one downfall I think it gonna use abit to much line as it cuts to length after u stop each time but line is cheap enough ) p.s highly recommend jigsaw and combo drill I cut wood for fun haha
