      A Temperature Gauge That Doesn't give the Temperature

      Unfortunately Sierra has decided to remove temperature numbers from their gauge, so what you see is C and H with not the slightest notion of the real temperature. I bought this based on the photo showing numbers on the gauge and they sent me the new one without numbers. This got to be expensive as I had bought it to verify my outboard thermostat was functioning at the correct temperature. So it was a total waste of money buying this. I finally just bought a new thermostat just on the speculation that it was worn out or stuck. So with my new 143F thermostat the gauge works but barely moves out of the Cold zone. Heaven help you if you have a 120F thermostat - you'll get no reading at all out of this gauge, much less any idea of the temperature. Not recommended.
