I've purchased pinhole glasses from several merchants and most appear to be pretty much the same quality of construction, with minor differences in design. Few can claim to be significantly superior. All have about the same hole size and hole spacing so all work equally well for vision, regardless of frame design. That said, most are about three-star products. I gave these four stars because I don't want people seeing three stars and turning away, thinking they're inferior. Within the context of the competitors with similar frames, they do deserve four. Back to vision, they work quite well. I can read any book and most fine print. I'm 72 and use pinhole glasses for 100% of my book and computer reading. CAVEATS: - Since the solid part of the glasses blocks light, the reading material must be well-lit (There's no problem at all with computers, since they are back-lit). - The solid part restricts full vision, creating a honeycomb shadow in your field of vision. You have to learn to move your head, not your eyss, to scan the text. Once you get used to it, it's not a problem. - Do not attempt to use these for driving. They do work for distance vision but, as mentioned, the solid part restricts full vision, creating a definite safety issue. Nobody would attempt to use them for night driving because you wouldn't be able to see much at all. PRICE: I've seen pinhole glasses selling for $10-$25. Some of those are identical to these but just have an inflated price. Some do have very nice frames but hold on a second. The primary function will be for reading books or using a computer. Is style that important? Who's going to see them? I purchased ten of these for the price of one "designer" model. Bottom line: Unless you really want those tortoise shell frames, just look for the best price.Read full review

Instantly, I can read text that I can't read without these. These glasses are not the answer, but they help exercise eye muscles for those with presbyopia. With other exercises like sunning, cupping, alternate short and far, reading exercises you can improve your vision.

The pinhole eye correction eyeglasses work very well to help correct your vision. I notice that after wearing them my eyes seem to be strengthened not from eye strain but from working the eye muscle.
