Amazing series/hair!
Julian Barratt (Dan Ashcroft in Nathan Barley) and Noel Fielding (the DJ from Nathan Barley, Crazed Monkey in Darkplace, and the hidden goth from the IT Crowd) have brought a level of quality and invention to British comedy that has been missing for a very long time. Fans of madcap shows the likes of Monty Python, I'm looking at you. Produced by Steve Coogan (I'm Alan Partridge), the program features hilarious songs such as 'The Soup Song,' 'Nannageddon' and the most imaginative creatures developed straight from Noel Fielding's drawings. The result is a crazy yet fanciful comedy that is not to be missed. Season One concerns overly self-conscious and insecure slap-base fanatic Howard Moon and the incredibly vain (but with his hair, who can blame him?) yet dim Vince Noir working at the ... The box set comes with a collectible booklet featuring drawings by Fielding and production snapshots. The DVDs have numerous extras including documentaries, cut scenes, and the short film 'Sweet.' If you are, like me, a fan of British comedy looking for something new, this is right up your alley.
