    thinking it would be hard to replace original I watched you tube and saw it was easy to do so. I ordered the replacement and it clicked into place without any problems . rapid delivery by post and identical to the one supplied at time I purchased the vacuum .cleaner.

    Not at all up to standard...

    This item doesn't really fit properly and means it's very difficult to use the 'wand'. I think it would have been wiser to invest in a genuine Dyson part and this is my recommendation to anyone thinking of buying this product.

    Does not fit.

    The hose on the product is too narrow for the Dyson DC50 tube to fit into. Although you can just about push the hose over the tube it is very difficult to get it off again when you want to swap to wand mode on the Dyson. In the end I bought a genuine Dyson part and this fits OK.
