My fault as you get what you pay for. I paid almost nothing and received an item that hardly turns the brushes on a tiled floor, so forget it working on a Carpet. My old Dyson head has done good service but was showing the signs of wear so I have a bench mark. When compared, the Old Dyson Turbo head is still ten time more robust than this head.
I wont return it as it not worth the effort and it saves it being passed on to someone else.!

The brush head is off decent quality, has enough power to keep turning on short pile carpet, not sure how it will perform on long pile........Had to cut 10mm of the bottom ( small diameter of taper) of adapter to have sung fit in head .
