    These are supposed to last 1000 flushes. This is false The 1st one i placed as suggested and after 4 days and no blue I turned it upside down it then lasted 1 day. The second I placed In the cistern and left for a week, still no blue so i turned it on its side and it lasted 1.5 days. I'm now on the 3rd and again 4 days on and still no blue. Not sure what I will try ñext. The claim of 1000 flushes only works if you count the weeks and probably 1000 flushes before you get any colour at all.

    These neat little GLASS (not plastic) containers hold compressed blue stuff. You pop one in the cistern and they really do last a very long time for a small amount of money

      Doesn't last long.

      I've only had it in for about a week and already the blue is very pale. I live on my own so it should last ages. There is no fresh smell just nothing. When I've used others the colour lasts and they smell lovely with every flush. So I don't think I will be buying more of these as I don't think they are worth it.

      Not Feeling Blu

      Tried these to compare with the 6 pack blu loo blocks I buy from £land ect. as they claim 1000 flushes per unit.....sadly they don't colour the water to any great extent, states they keep ur loo smelling fresh n clean....I don't notice any "ocean fresh" fragrance from using them, and bowl needs same cleaning I always do so no real benefit there....they can be a bit bulky to drop in ur cistern if it's a compact unit like mine,....but I think I'll stick with the blu loo £landers as they give nice colour to the water...for a brief time.....

      Shoudnt use if you have a septic tank.

      I didnt know this product shouldn't be used in a toilet with a septic tank. I bought it because the enamal in the bottom of our toilet has worn. Thought blue water would be more pleasant to look at. So haven't used product, gave it away will look for something more environmentally friendly.

      Rubbish product.

      i have purchased these before from Tesco and they lasted ages, but these only gave us a couple of days of a blue flush then back to normal, very poor quality and quite simple these do not work, absolute rubbish ////.
