    Well constructed with suitable plug in charger.

    This is the second unit bought to replace two ebike batteries that were from a different supplier that were found to be faulty from new. These units have found to be of a good quality in orporating nternal short circuit protection and fuse. Although the unit is a little large it is extremely well constructed and incorporates a keyswitch on/off, self test indicator with rear light. I am confident the battery will provide long time usage and am delighted with the product. E Oswick

    Battery capacity and the supplied mains lead?

    These batteries appear to have been intended for battery cycles sold by Aldi in 2013/2014 and I was initially unsure whether they might have lost some capacity? But my testing has confirmed that the batteries seem to have retained the advertised capacity. The battery arrives partially charged and you must fully charge it before use. Please note that you will either need a 2 pin to UK 3 pin adaptor or a suitable UK lead with the appropriate charger plug before you can charge the battery. The other thing I learnt from the supplier is that the LED rear light is activated (and deactivated) by a longer press on the battery test button.

    Great value battery.

    Fitted this battery to a customers bike using a 250w geared hub motor. Has a decent range of around 25 miles and is of good quality, plus it comes with an integrated tail light.
