Best collection of Chicago's best.
This is the best 2-disc set of Chicago. It covers all eras of the band's history with all the great tunes from those years. My only complaint is that the percussion jams were cut short from "Beginnings" and "I'm a Man." Not sure why that is, as those jams are part of what made those songs so great. I don't know if disc space was tooo tight to include them. If so, one of the clunker tunes could have been omitted. Or maybe the record company believed that people didn't care for that kind of jamming any more (wrong!). Anyhow, if you like Chicago, get this set.This is the best 2-disc set of Chicago. A good compilation but ....
This cd is a good compilation of the early years of the band. One of the main reasons that I bought the cd was for the song Beginnings. But the editors chose to use the shortened version of the song that deletes the drum solo at the end. Now I'll have to buy a different cd to get the original version.
