A keen edge to be had
This is a well designed and attractive piece of kitchen equipment. Clear instructions and easy to use it has the power to enhance the well used knife and restore the battered relic that you nearly threw away. Easy to hold and operate and its stores away easily too. A useful piece of equipment at a very reasonable price.

Made well but final honing does not last
The first 2 blades work well but the ceramic finishing ceramic bars wear out very quickly. Not surprising really as the ceramic bars do not turn round so only 1 small part of the surface is used and that loses its sharpness very quickly. Suggest purchasing a similar 2 stage device (for less than half the price) and then using a sharpening steel for the final honing.

does the job..well

Effective and Easy to Use
A great tool for anyone with little experience of sharpening knives. The instructions are clear, with an online video also available to demonstrate how to use the sharpener. This easily helped to restore several of my old, straight edged knives from almost completely useless to work again.
