They do not have the food safe symbol on them, nor do they have any recycling symbols, which therefore renders them non-recyclable in many areas. The seller was unable to provide any confirmation that they are food safe and repeatedly suggested I use them anyway, despite the fact that non-food-safe plastics can leach dangerous chemicals into food. My children's health is too important to risk that.
