For the very affordable price this is a really good little blade, have used it really roughly everyday for a few weeks chopping hazel and essentially using it as a machete in overgrown areas, a few tiny nicks from the rough use that sharpen out fine. Buy a decent diamond sharpening stone and this will last a long time. Certainly more than good enough for splitting kindling. Really sturdy and weighty for just over £10 there’s no complaints. Good blade.

Great quality steel kindling splitter axe that i am bery pleased with that will be a great addition to my camping kit which i will use as a multitool in my kit as it will be my camping axe , tent peg hammer and for cutting vegetables and as a very efficient meat cleaver too and as long as you keep it in original packing cardboard sheath you should have no trouble from the UK police while using it for bushcraft as its not a knife or a machete but a very practical multi purpose camping tool😉
