Poor video quality in the DIGIVIEW edition.
Without commenting on the quality of the movie (The Painted Hills) itself, I want to warn consumers that the video quality of this edition, issued by DIGIVIEW and made in Taiwan, is very poor. The cover claims that it is "digitally remastered," but it appears like it was recorded from a television screen: soft focus, poor resolution, and ingrained with broadcast lines. There are several editions of this classic available; I strongly recommend finding one that is issued by a different company.Without commenting on the quality of the movie (The Painted Hills) itself, I want to warn consumers that the video quality of this edition, issued by DIGIVIEW and made in Taiwan, is very poor. always loved Lassie
My grandson is too young for this movie now. I bought it because I always loved the Lassie movies. I am sure he will too as he gets older. I remember watching this movie. :)
