The chisel set has exceeded my expectations. The chisels are robustly made with good quality blades and handles. The attractive wooden box is a real bonus and will keep the set together and prevent chisels from being misplaced or lost. It's difficult to see how all of this can be produced for the price and it arrived ahead of the delivery date. I cannot recommend more highly.

Very nicely presented and comfortable to use but required a lot of honing and sharpening to be able to use with soft wood for relief carving so unless you know how to sharpen your tools, you'll get very frustrated trying to carve straight out of the box.

I did have a problem with a part bearing being missing. Contacted the seller who was very polite and helpful, l supplied a picture of the missing part and was sent a replacement ASAP. l think this cross slide is good value for the money, yes you do have to make some adjustments and a bit of fettling but the effort is well worth it. l would buy from this seller again.
