Cheap anvil. For the money it's never going to be great, but the horn really needs sanding with an angle grinder if you want it smooth. The flat face is nice though. Edges also need smoothing over a little

Cheap anvil so can't complain, except that what you receive looks different from the product photos. The anvil I received was black, not grey and it wasn't as nicely finished as the product photos. The sides and horn were very rough and had some small lumps that needed filing down. The lettering on the sides says 'MD 10' rather than just '10' as shown in the product photos. The hole in the horn didn't go down through the base as it appears to do in the product listing. It will do the job.
