    a woman's memory of the Civil War. not many like this!

    This is Celine Garcia's memory of living during the civil war. She was from Louisiana and her father was Colonel Leon Fremaux who was the map maker for the confederacy especially during the Battle of Shiloh. Her memories are of her mother following her father thru out the south during the war.

    Celine by Celine Garcia

    Really wanted the book. It is by and about a family linage that my wife is distant kin to. We recently lost one of the Garcia family members that was 91 years old and I have not read the book. She owned a copy and was very pleased with referring to it.
