The item was advertised as new but it wasn't, and it wasn't the item in the photo. It arrived sealed and with no shipping damage. The parts that were broken off the PCB did not exist in the packaging, and could not have fallen out as they were far too large. Upon further inspection, there were also wear marks on every single connection point to indicate the item was not exactly new, either. Possibly tested, or installed once. I am currently unable to contact the seller directly.

    Ideal Upgrade

    Good value and delivered ahead of scheduled date. This is the best hardware speed upgrade after memory. I have also purchased an SSD so together should bring my PC up to spec for another 4 to 5 years. Not yet installed but I anticipate no problems.

    cheap and awesome

    cheap, powerful, low wattage and therefore doesn't need a fancy motherboard. I do a mix of gaming and creative stuff and this does the job very well on a budget

    Worth the money for an old MOBO upgrade

    This chip was one of the few options left available to me to upgrade my existing motherboard. It allowed me to significantly increase system performance without having to get involved with upgrading my o/s to Windows 8.1. The cost benefit ratio was good and the buffering issue a relatively minor one by comparison. This processor chip would only work for someone in similar circumstances to my own
