The item was advertised as new but it wasn't, and it wasn't the item in the photo. It arrived sealed and with no shipping damage. The parts that were broken off the PCB did not exist in the packaging, and could not have fallen out as they were far too large. Upon further inspection, there were also wear marks on every single connection point to indicate the item was not exactly new, either. Possibly tested, or installed once. I am currently unable to contact the seller directly.

Awesome CPU
Its a more than meets the eye CPU. Completely boosted my pc from the old Core 2 Duo I had. :-) Also it doesn't get hot as I thought. I've heard this is made for overclocking, but I'd just like to avoid doing so as you would diminish the products life cycle. It was completely easy to install, no further configurations made. Note: Not all 775 socket motherboards support Extreme CPUs, I had another ASUS motherboard lying around and it saved my installation. Overall I'm satisfied.Its a more than meets the eye CPU. Well I think the QX9650 is an awesome processor, the socket 775 is a good socket that I believe that Intel let go far too soon, through blindiness. With the company of 125 billion they can make many people listen, and they are listening, Intel has been wrong before, if it wasnt for AMD to come along you would of still seeing Intel trying to squeeze more juice from a snive. But the great thanks to AMD to show up and move to a different direction. The QX9650 can be Overclocked to at least 4 ghz and some even more than that, with equipment that complement the processor things are so much easier to achieve the goal you set for. It very good playing games, I mostly play games like Supremme Commander Forged Alliance with great amounts of differnet items running at one time, I had an i7 ... I know that chip is Awesome and so is the socket 775 , I believe Intel is going the WRONG way... But in the end they will not listen to a computer science engineer, with 10 years experence, no there Intel making there own bed. Remember what is said about putting all your eggs in one basket, I would at least keep that socket 775 going cause you all ready have it up...But that is my ten cents.
