On using the spiral anchors, when inserting them if you meet any resistance the head of the anchor spins off and becomes useless. Also even after drilling a 6-8 mm diameter hole through the silicone and base coat the spirals are so flimsy the plastic bends and does not "cut" into the render and also becomes useless. I bought these thinking they are the right item for the job and also to ensure a good fixing and I have been left totaly frustrated
