When looking for a new battery for our aging Ford Fiesta, we were hoping to find an economical replacement. Exide is a well known brand so we were quite surprised to find such a well known make of car battery at such a reasonable price. The battery was exactly what we wanted. It was the right size (both physically and electrically) and was therefore, a simple, effective exchange. Would I look at buying an Exide car battery in the future? Definitely yes. Bought EXIDE AE1000 900A from Tayna batteries for my BMW X5 E53 4.8is. Arrived next day 10am. Very well packed. The battery had 12.66V so 100% charge, after connecting to a car dropped to 12.5V which is 90% of charge, which is normal considering manufacture date and my car air suspension pump kicking in. The battery box (with melted numbers 9A......) was produced 2019 (9) January (A). I bought the battery June 2019 so it is max 6 months old. I called the Exide Technologies to find out if it is original and they said that Tayna Batteries buys a lot and very frequently from them, so the battery is for sure fresh and original. They also told me that battery box was produced in different place and then it arrived to another factory where it could be assembled, so in reality this numbers can't ...
