    The Gilmour Electronic Timer is a good product so far

    The Gilmour Electronic Dual Timer is a good product so far. I've only had it about a month now & so far, so good. No problems. The real test will be to see how it works down the line. A lot of my Orbit timers have stopped working on one side, so I'm hoping the Gilmour won't have that problem.

    This particular timer was defective.

    This is normally a great timer and we have used this brand for years. How ever this particular timer did not work. The display would come on and you could program it but then it would not work, it would simply shut off. The package was old and discolored so it may have set on the shelf in the sun maybe way to long.

    seems OK, time will tell

    way too early to rate this product. Pretty much just got it hooked up. setting up is pretty straight forward and easy. Only concern is that it uses 2 AA batteries so not sure how 'long' the batteries will last and what will happen when they die out. Guess I'll find out if I have to reprogram it or if it holds the program. comes with 2 year warranty, which is comforting. Most reviews say these timers typically last about 2 years.. time will tell
