Perfect fit for 2015 W212 Mercedes E class
Needed a new battery after numerous Covid-19 lockdowns and home working meant the original battery was over discharged and not in good health even after several cycles of charging with a CTEK AGM charger. Used a few sites to find out what battery I needed and was bewildered by all the allegedly compatible options excluding the options for the auxiliary battery in the boot. I knew I needed an AGM battery as my car has stop/start. However options given were: Type 096 e.g. Bosch S5 A08 This is too small and did not match the spec of my existing battery. Only has 70Ah capacity and 760A CCA Type 115 e.g. Bosch S5 A11 This is the exact spec of the OEM battery that came with my car in terms of size and spec. 80Ah capacity and 800A CCA Type 019 e.g. Bosch S5 A13 It was tempting to go for a ... However, the battery is too big for the battery tray. You have about 330mm max I reckon for the battery tray but this battery is 353mm in length. For reference the OEM Battery out of my car was: A 001 982 81 08 made by Varta (incidentally Varta make the same car batteries for Bosch) Length: 315mm Width: 175mm Height: 190mm Capacity: 80Ah CCA: 800A Hope that helps!

Perfect for Mercedes W204 220Cdi Diesel Estate (2010)
The battery was listed for my vehicle even though mine is a non stop/start model. Naturally being concerned about this, I checked with Bosch who agreed it’s okay for my vehicle. How happy am I? I now have a vastly superior AGM battery fitted to my car with ample power to start it every time and a much faster re-charge time, which is perfect for the short runs that I regularily do. I can now rely on my vehicle both summer and winter as the AGM battery produces more cranking power when cold than the standard fitment (OE) battery it has replaced.The battery was listed for my vehicle even though mine is a non stop/start model. Expensive for a car battery but compared to similar comparable a good price & quick delivery, the stop/start on my Landrover had stopped but the new battery got it working again. It has a 4 yr warranty that's better than most.
