About this product

Product Information

'THERE'S A SAYING THAT ALL ROADS LEAD TO ANKH-MORPORK. AND IT'S WRONG. ALL ROADS LEAD AWAY FROM ANKH-MORPORK, BUT SOMETIMES PEOPLE JUST WALK ALONG THE WRONG WAY' from Moving Pictures Ankh-Morpork! City of One Thousand Surprises (according to the famous publication by the Guild of Merchants)! All human life is there! Although, if it walks down the wrong alley, often quite briefly! The city celebrated in the bestselling Discworld series by Terry Pratchett has been meticulously mapped for the first time. It's all here - from Unseen University to the Shades, from major landmarks like the Patrician's Palace to little-known, er, nooks like Dwarf Bread Museum in Whirligig Alley. See the famous streets along which so many heroes have walked, in some cases quite hurriedly! As leading Ankh-Morpork entrepreneur C.M.O.T. Dibbler would say, A nip at any price - and that's cutting our own throat. Well, close.

The book arrived well packed get & I pristine condition at a good price. I would have liked it by 1st class post & I contacted this Seller via EBAY 'CONTACT' but got NO RESPONSE via either my email account or on ebay and certainly not in my Spam folder...SO what can you say I was inconvenienced a bit but got a positive outcome? I think they're reliable for transactions but something is remiss with electronic communication via EBAY or perhaps not tech savvy or disinterested or unwell etc..

As usual with this seller, the book was exactly as described and very well packed. However, delivery times can vary significantly. This was one of 4 books ordered at the same time. Two arrived in about a week, but this one took almost 3 weeks. A reliable seller who answers questions promptly, but could improve on dispatch times.

If you're happy to buy it now, receive it sometime in the future, this is the seller for you. Strangely nebulous and self destructive despatch times for a modern business, but, I've got my book, it was reasonably priced, packed okay and as described so a perfectly decent transaction. Happy enough customer, all fine.

  • lightweight with great features

was what i asked for and cheep as it was second hand, however this was evidenced by the thumbtack holes in the corners. Still worth the money and i can always buy new if i want pristine condition. great if you are a Terry Pratchett fan.
