    Sounded too good to be true...and it was.

    The books are in very nice shape. I did leave one review already. The set was described as new and never read. They were indeed read you can just see that. The ribbon was dirty and there were bent pages, but not enough that it bothered. I had a hard time unknotting the ribbon but it was gray from hand grime. It said the game was included but it was not, but that did not bother me because this is for a library and often a game with pieces is more of a problem with items being lost. So all in all this was a nice set and I like it a lot.

    Good Historical Books, For Children Of All Ages.

    This is a great historical novel centring around young Kit Kittredge during the 1930's depression era. It is a good solid story of her families struggles to keep their house as well as her want to be reporters investigations into the world around her. There are a lot of interesting characters in the story to keep the pages turning. The historical facts at the end of each book gives a glimpse into the past and the world that kit lives in.
