Great anti snoring device - recommend
For years I've struggled to sleep due to my husband's snoring, particularly when he sleeps on his back. This is the second one he's had, the first one really did only last 6-7 months but then it became uncomfortable. The new one is back to being comfortable. It takes a little time to get used to it, his dentist suggested he initially wear it for an hour or 2 before going to bed to help him get used to it. Too big and uncomfortable
After following the instructions to the letter and actually getting a really good mould on this, the first time I put it in after setting it in cold water I realised that my mouth wouldn't even close unless I clenched my teeth together. It is bulky and uncomfortable, and where it is supposed to bend in half so you can get it in your mouth is so stiff it basically holds your mouth open by about an inch. works very well, easy to clean but with a slight issue....
The device is easy to fit, with clear instructions which take only a minute or two to carry out. In terms of it's effectiveness, the fit is good and it works well, adjustments are easy to make and because it opens flat, it is easier to clean than most of these devices - I use a soft toothbrush and water iwith a drop of washing up liquid, then swill them with clean water. The only issue I have is that the parts which mould to your teeth have become loose and come apart when cleaning the device. However, because of the locating 'lugs', puting it back to gether is easy and it stays in position during use. It may be that this is a feature to make thorough cleaning easy, but there's nothing in the instructins to tell you this.The device is easy to fit, with clear instructions which take only a minute or two to carry out. Works for me, its the first one I have found that works.
I had my doubts about anything stopping my snoring, anyway the process of fitting the device is fiddly but as you can have 3 attempts I managed to get the moulding right. It is not exactly uncomfortable but a bit like having a 3 day old burger bun in your mouth. My partner informed me that there had been no snoring on the first use and it has been in use every night for over 1 week with impressive results. I do have a dry mouth occasionally but I will get over it. Disappointing, waste of money
I’m actually gutted this didn’t work for me, it was expensive and a waste of money. After carefully following the instructions, the only way is stops me snoring is the fact that I don’t sleep with it in!it’s huge! So uncomfortable, really hard to swallow or even breathe properly. It made me gag. If it works for you great but I’m definitely disappointed and out of pocket
