Speedyhen certainly lived up to their name, the package arrived two days before the estimated delivery, so happy on that score. The parcel was extremely well packaged, and the contents exactly as described, and at a very competitive and value for money price. Very happy with my dealings with Speedyhen, and I have no hesitation in recommending them, or 'The Complete Calvin and Hobbes' collection.

  • A chuffing good read!

If you are not only interested in the building of the world's railways, but also in the social and political history that went with them, then this is the book for you. Wolmar writes well, and has done his research. I had already read this book as a loan from my local library, and was so taken with it that I felt it needed to be on my shelves. It is a book can can be dipped into, and is full of entertaining and surprising stories. More than worth the price.
